The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is a red dot sight (reflex sight) with simple magnification. It is suitable for fast and accurate aiming of handguns.

The simple magnification (1:1) allows the weapon to be aimed with both eyes open, enabling the person firing the weapon to see the full field of vision and therefore have the greatest possible view of the scene.

Power supply

The power supply of the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is provided by two lithium 3 V type CR1632 batteries.

Inserting the batteries

Remove the battery compartment cover (Fig. 4/I) using the special wrench (Fig. 3), which is included in delivery, by turning to the left (counter clockwise).

The batteries are installed on top of each other with the plus sides touching each other (battery bottom/Fig. 4). Place the first battery (Fig. 4/K) with the plus side towards the cover. The second battery (Fig. 4/J) is inserted with the minus side towards the cover.

Using the special wrench, replace the battery compartment cover.

Automatic switch-off function

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT will switch off automatically after operating for 4 hours in order to prevent the battery from unintentional discharge.

Note: If the device is not used for an extended period of time, the batteries should be removed to prevent damage which can be caused by leaking batteries.

The interior of the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is exposed to environmental influence when the battery cover is open.

Operation

Adjusting the target dot

Before each adjustment loosen the locking screw for target dot locking (Fig 1/D).

Adjustment of the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is infinitely variable and is done via the adjusting screw for height (Fig. 1/A) and lateral (Fig. 2/H) variation.

Use the special wrench included for adjustment.

There is an indexing disk on the special wrench. Mark B (Fig. 1) can be used as a reference point for the height and Mark C (Fig. 1) for the transverse.

(1 division on the indexing disk = 2.5 cm/100 m).

Note the variation between the target dot and point of impact during shooting and correct as follows:

  • Point of impact below the target dot:
  • (weapon shooting low) – turn the adjusting screw in up direction
  • Point of impact above the target dot:
  • (weapon shooting high) – turn the adjusting screw away from the up direction
  • Point of impact to the left of the target dot:
  • (weapon shooting left) – turn the adjusting screw in the R direction
  • Point of impact to the right of the target dot:
  • (weapon shooting right) – turn the adjusting screw away from the R direction

After each adjustment or before each shot, retighten the locking screw for target dot locking (Fig. 1/D).

Care and maintenance

Your ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT requires no special maintenance.

Do not wipe coarse dirt particles (e.g. sand) from the lens, rather blow them away or remove with a camel hair brush! Fingerprints can attack the lens surface after some time. Breathing on the lens surface and wiping off with a clean optical cleaning cloth is the simplest way to clean.

Protect the device as much as possible against the action of grease and oil-containing materials. Dirt and fingerprints can be eliminated easily with pure alcohol (no acetone) and a clean cloth. The battery compartment and the battery compartment cover should always be kept clean and dry

Caution!

Never look into the sun or laser light sources with the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT.

This can result in serious damage to the eyes.
