Aimpoint 9000SC vs. 9000L | Optics Trade Debates

Welcome to Optics Trade debates. In each episode, we talk about a different topic and try to answer the most common questions we receive about it. Today, we are going to talk about the differences between the Aimpoint 9000SC and the 9000L.

The main difference between the 9000SC and the 9000L is the length, just like the H30 and H34 S and L versions. The devices are the same, regarding the optical performance.

The 9000L is used on long action rifles on which the spacing between the rings is bigger, and the 9000SC is used on rifles that have the rings closer together. The 9000L can be mounted on all rifles that have the mounting rings close together, or far apart, while the 9000SC works only on rifles that have the mounting rings close together.

The placement of the mounting rings on the red dot is limited by a rubber eyepiece.
